He published his first book ‘Brown’s Bath’ in 2008 and ten years on, down to his last couple of boxes, decided that it was time to start over and create a brand-new anthology celebrating the city he loves.
Bath has seen some changes over the last ten years, and Peter’s work has matured too. This will be reflected in the book through the 130+ paintings and drawings that it will feature.
Peter successfully launched his book of London paintings on Kickstarter in 2015, and was thrilled by the support and encouragement he received from the online community.
“I had no idea what to expect. I hoped some of familiar faces who attend my exhibitions might get behind it, but it was such a thrill to see people I’d never met from all around the world pledging their support. It was all very humbling, and terribly exciting, so I can’t wait to ride the rollercoaster again. I’m already starting to feel the adrenalin as we prepare for launch...”
In return for a pledge, Peter is offering a range of awards including books, postcards, limited edition prints, original oil paintings, and the chance to spend the day painting with ‘Pete the Street’.
