The three annual scholarships, worth £6,000 in total, are aimed at individuals who have not historically benefited from many opportunities to engage with the NEAC and aim to support those who face financial barriers in pursuing the arts in a professional capacity.
The successful applicants will benefit from a scholarship award to support artistic development, the opportunity to attend NEAC classes and workshops for free, and the chance to develop mentoring relationships with the talented members of the NEAC. It is hoped that successful applicants will continue to engage with the club beyond the scholarship year.
