Narrative Figure Painting 1-day Workshop with James Bland NEAC

This one day course allows students to explore narrative when painting from life. Based on his own studio practise, James will encourage you to tell a story using the human figure. The model will take up two poses - one active one passive, both of which will appear on the canvas at the same time as though in dialogue. James will demonstrate every stage where appropriate throughout the day, which will end with a plenary session.
