'The devil is in the detail' 1-day workshop with Robert E Wells NEAC RBA

The aim of this one-day workshop is to explore, through observation, the anatomy of man-made structures and help informative decisions when depicting architectural details.

Although the day will be relatively informal with plenty of opportunity to explore subjects of personal individual interest, Robert has broken the day down into a loose framework as follows:

Meet at Heatherleys for a brief chat and proceed to the Thames Embankment to draw and record architectural and other details along the way. Visit the Albert Bridge, with the view to preparing studies to be used for a more detailed painting later in the day.

After a break for lunch to meet in the studio at 2pm for an overview of the information gathered and to create a more finished piece of work.

The afternoon will finish with a plenary session.
