Egg Tempera Workshop with Ruth Stage NEAC

Ruth Stage NEAC will hold a workshop demonstrating the techniques of Egg Tempera painting. Ruth will provide you with a Gesso surface to work on.

About your tutor: Ruth Stage works almost exclusively in egg tempera on gesso board. Her work is predominantly landscape-based where the play of light, and natures natural rhythms and patterns are recurring pictorial themes. Her work is widely collected and she has received many prizes including the 2013 Lynn Painter-Stainer's first prize. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy Schools.

This event is capped at 12 students.

Our Annual Exhibition is now firmly established as a fixture of the London Summer Season. Every year, we run a series of events and workshops associated with the exhibition where we encourage people of all abilities to get involved, so that our established members can assist and encourage emerging artists.
