Eccentric Interiors & Quirky Collections: 1-day workshop with Felicity House: Russell-Cotes Museum & Art Gallery, Bournemouth
Spend a day drawing at this historical house with NEAC member Felicity House.
Following an introduction to the eccentric Edwardian home of Annie and Merton Russell-Cotes we will be able to make drawings of an interior of your choice or objects from rather fascinating collections; these could include museum visitors.
Should you wish, Felicity will provide starting ideas and talk with you about your drawings during the day.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR
Felicity House is based at her studio in Dorset and produces a wide variety of work which includes drawing and printmaking. For more than ten years Felicity taught short courses at West Dean College and Life Drawing classes at the Arts University Bournemouth. She has regularly made work in the Russell Cotes Museum.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring graphite pencils, crayons, pastel pencils (not chalk pastels or charcoal ), fibre drawing pens - whatever you have. You could bring some prepared painted papers to work on if you wish.Please note the museum will not allow any wet drawing materials /equipment.
Comfortable art stools will be available to use.
There is a cloakroom with lockers at the museum entrance and a café for refreshments.
