Jonathan Trowell NEAC was a professional and dedicated artist and his outstanding draughtsmanship enabled him to work with ease in all media.

Although he covered a wide variety of subject matters, he tended to concentrate on horses and the racing world, the haunting beauty of his local Norfolk landscapes and the life and spirit of European cities. Jonathan exhibited throughout the world and his following was such that his paintings hang in public and private collections worldwide, amongst others: HRH The Prince of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Bedford, Sir Charles Wheeler PPRA, De Beers, Newnham College Cambrige and Imperial College.
