It's now a few weeks since we closed the doors on another annual Open Exhibition, and life is beginning to get back to normal again...

This year's show was a great success, attracting a steady flow of visitors and strong sales throughout its run. If there was a piece you had your eye on, there's still a chance - unsold artworks are now available to buy here (click the 'works for sale' tab).

As ever, the classes & workshops that accompanied the exhibition were extremely popular. See our gallery below for photos of workshops tutored by New English members including Melissa Scott-Miller, Paul Gildea and James Bland. You'll also find photos of our Private View and Critics' Lunch.

Congratulations to all our prizewinners, and to our newest members, Neil Pittaway and Craig Jefferson. We are grateful to all of our supporters and those who so generously donate prizes. We especially thank Richard and Alison Chenevix-Trench, Sir Ronald McIntosh, The Haworth Trust and The Alfred Teddy Smith and Zsuzsi Roboz Trust, and everyone at Mall Galleries. The New English Art Club is a registered charity, relying on the generosity of its sponsors, donors and friends to further our aims of supporting aspiring and established figurative artists through teaching, scholarships and exhibiting. Find out how you can support us.

And so the preparation for our 2017 exhibition begins! To stay up-to-date, join our mailing list or become a Friend where for a small annual fee, you will enjoy additional benefits - including the earliest opportunity to visit future Annual Open Exhibitions (before the Private View).

And finally, here's some advance-information in case you'd like to submit work for next year's show.
