At the opening night of our 2023 Annual Exhibitiom, we announced the recipients of the NEAC Artist Scholarships for 2023-24.
The first prize (including a £5,000 bursary) was awarded to Rae Birch Carter and two £250 prizes went to Owain Hunt and Polly Smedley.
All three Scholars can attend the NEAC Education Programme's classes & workshops over the coming year, and will have the opportunity to visit and receive advice and mentorship from NEAC member artists. Highlights of the work they create during their Scholarship year will feature in the NEAC Annual Exhibition in 2024.
