An exclusive opportunity to paint alongside ‘Pete the Street’ in the Eternal City of Rome in early June when the special light illuminates the architectural gems.
Rome is an architectural masterpiece with an intoxicating mix of classical ruins, extravagant Baroque churches and fountains and glorious Renaissance palaces. These historical landmarks are normally bathed in a special light in June.
Peter likes to paint from dawn to dusk and will encourage you to make the most of your time in Rome and to produce lots of work. Working alongside Peter is an inspiring and fun experience and he is happy to share his knowledge with you and for you to learn by example. The River Tiber and most of the historical sites are within walking distance of your accommodation and the roof terrace of the hotel will be a great place to capture Rome’s extraordinary layers of history. This is a free-style painting programme that is best suited to experienced artists and confident intermediate students. Peter will be working in oils but all media are welcome. An event host will be with you in Rome to take care of everyone and all the arrangements.
