Join us in the afternoon for a 2-hour masterclass painting demo with Richard Pikesley, followed by an NEAC birthday tea party.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to talk to Richard about his work.

Richard will be demonstrating from 2:45pm till 4:45pm (with a 10-minute interval); followed by the NEAC’s 140th birthday tea party with cake-cutting ceremony (ends 5:30pm) 

ABOUT THE ARTIST  

Richard Pikesley has been part of the NEAC since his election at the age of 23 in 1974. He'd been on the executive committee for donkey's years before serving as President from 2013-2018. Since stepping down from that role he's been involved in a number of other projects including writing a big book about landscape painting and another about watercolour, both published by Crowood Press. He's also a member and Honorary Curator of the Royal Watercolour Society, and works in oils and watercolour and draws every day.
