The Winter Still Life - Greys and Neutrals: 1-day online oils workshop with Clare Haward: Online
A one day practical online oil painting workshop delivered via Zoom.
In this intermediate/advanced workshop, students will set up their own still life at home, with a grey and neutral theme. The focus is on finding beauty in the careful observation of your still life set up. We will consider use of line and edge, tonal and colour relationships and simplification of forms. Clare will introduce exercises that encourage students to see ‘pictorially’ and explore the abstract qualities underpinning our compositions. We will be mixing tones and greys, and balance subdued with chromatic colour.
