The NEAC is committed to supporting talented figurative artists regardless of ethnicity, sex, disability, economic position, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, national origin, gender reassignment, or religion.

Membership

The NEAC strives to be a diverse and inclusive body. New members are elected without discrimination on the quality of their work and their artistic potential. We are committed to supporting talented figurative artists regardless of ethnicity, sex, disability, economic position, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, national origin, gender reassignment, or religion.  We work actively to remove barriers and support the diverse needs of all our members. Read our Member Artist Application Process.

Education Programme

Our Education Programme, which includes our Scholarship scheme, actively encourages diverse participation. Our discount schemes, classes, and mentorship are openly accessible to all, and aim to reach audiences that have not historically benefited from the opportunity.

Annual Exhibition Submissions

Works for our annual exhibitions are selected anonymously, and selection is based on merit alone by a committee of twelve members.

The Public and Visitors

We aim to ensure that our exhibitions are accessible to all, enabling a wide and inclusive public engagement with the work we are showing.
