This intensive one-day workshop will introduce you to the possibilities of watercolour painting in both traditional and non-traditional ways. The course is structured in a flexible manner to accommodate all skill levels from beginners to those with more experience. You will be taught a variety of watercolour techniques through a series of practical exercises, 1-1 tuition and group discussion. You will gain confidence in the art of watercolour painting including basic wash techniques, mixing and layering colours, and investigate creative use of marks through accidents and intuition. The day will end with an informal plenary session.
