'Discovering Watercolour Landscape Painting' 1-day workshop with Neil Pittaway

The aim of this one-day workshop is to introduce students to the beauty of watercolour landscape painting. You will learn how to use materials [paper paints and brushes] and experiment with different techniques [washes, colour mixing, tone, texture and pattern] through carefully designed exercises. The structure of the course is flexible and can accommodate all skill levels from beginners to advanced students. You will have the opportunity to apply these techniques to create various landscape paintings of your own based on source material and artists references provided by your tutor. The day will conclude with a plenary session where you will have the opportunity to discuss and review the days outcomes.

About your tutor: Neil Pittaway is well known for his complex drawings, etchings and paintings.
