'Colour and the Figure' 1-day workshop with James Bland NEAC

This will be an intense day of painting from the model. The day will begin with a series of quick loose drawings as warm up exercises before progressing to a single pose that will last all day allowing students to focus on one sustained painting. One- to-one tuition will be provided throughout the day, which will conclude with a plenary session. All levels of ability and experience are welcome.

About your tutor: James Bland is a graduate of Canterbury Christchurch University and has received many prizes including the Visitors Choice award in the 2014 Threadneedle Prize, and the Doreen Mcintosh Prize at the New English Annual Exhibition.
