A look at simplifying architectural motifs and the transition from sketchbook studies through to studio paintings.
The live demo with Robert E. Wells will consist of a brief introduction followed by a slide presentation examining the role of sketchbooks in the development of architectural subject matter. There will be a live drawing and painting session to follow. This will explore ways of developing ideas starting with composition and pencil drawing techniques and conclude with a more resolved painted study. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end with a brief overview to conclude.
