‘Working with Sketchbooks’ 1-day workshop with Robert E Wells NEAC RBA

The workshop will start with a brief overview by Robert of his use of sketchbooks, and their importance to his studio works.

This will be followed by a variety of short drawing exercises, both indoors and outdoors (subject to weather). There will then be an opportunity to develop information gathered in the form of a larger studio work in any medium. The workshop will finish with an overview of the day.

About your tutor: Robert E. Wells NEAC RBA‭ is a Yorkshire-‬born artist, known for his cityscape paintings as well as rural landscapes and figurative works. He finds inspiration in the unusual aspects of everyday life, encouraging the viewer to create their own narrative interpretations of his often ambiguous and sometimes conflicting imagery.‬ member of the New English Art Club and The Royal Society British Artists, he regularly exhibits his work in solo shows.
