This short course of three afternoons will be spent drawing in the relatively quiet rooms at London's Wallace Collection.
From specific artist-focused study to an appreciation of a particular genre, we will draw from paintings to enrich our engagement. The notion of 'pictorial problems' will be approached in a manner which may then inform our own practice of drawing and painting.
About your tutor: Daniel Shadbolt has been teaching painting and drawing for fifteen years. He is a painter whose practice includes portraits among other subjects. Drawing informs what his paintings may become and have always been central to his craft.
