| In Ken Howard’s Final Year
as President, the annual exhibition broke the records.
101 works were sold totalling in excess of £150,000.
The standard again surpassed previous years making
the judges task in chosing the prize
winners harder than ever. The Master of Magdalene
College, Cambridge and Director of the Fitzwilliam
Museum, Duncan Robinson, gave the David Wolfers
Memorial Lecture on Stanley and Gilbert Spencer.
A great success, it was very well attended and proved
extremely insightful. |

This year the club lost three of its members:
- Hans Schwartz
- Margeret Pullee
- Margaret Green
They were all valuable members and much loved
and we shall miss them a great deal.
