'Seeing as a flattened surface' 1-day Workshop with Paul Gildea NEAC

The aim of his intense one-day workshop will be to focus on seeing the world as a flattened surface, to appreciate how every form and shape fits into every other, and getting the right colours in the right place. There will be a life model in the main room and a couple of still life set ups to work from in the smaller space. The model will hold a sustained pose. As space is restricted this event will be capped at 16 students [10 in the main room and 6 in the smaller space] - students may either spend time on each subject or stay with one for the duration. This can be discussed with Paul on the day. The day will conclude with a short plenary session.

About your tutor: Paul Gildea has 35 years teaching experience. He is currently a part-time tutor at Kensington & Chelsea college and Heatherley's Art School.
