Charles Hardaker trained at Birmingham
College of Arts and Crafts and the Royal
College of Art.
He paints landscapes, still lives, portraits
and philosophical/scriptural subjects.
Has work in the permanent collections
of the Tate Gallery, the Guildhall of
London, the National Library of Wales
and numerous private collections in the
UK and overseas.
Major commissions include paintings for
BP; Northumbria water; Eurotunnel; the
Howard Hotel, London; two cycles of paintings
based on "Genesis" and "the
Gospel of Thomas" for Townley Hall,
Ireland; also numerous portraits.
