Artist Statement

Trained at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Saied is a figurative painter living and working in Bath. Over the years, he has had many mixed and solo exhibitions in the UK and abroad.  He was made a member of The Royal Society of Portrait Painters in 2004 and the New English Art Club in 2009.

Method of Working

Each painting is created as a self-contained world and is very much concerned with the evocation of an atmosphere, a mood or a theme and all the elements of drawing, tone, colour and composition are at the service of that.
